U-20 WWC: Aduku upbeat Falconets will bounce back from Spain defeat

Falconets head coach, Moses Aduku insisted that his side failed to measure up to standard in the defeat to Spain, DAILY POST reports.
Nigeria lost 2-0 to Spain in their opening fixture of the 2026 FIFA Women’s World Cup on Monday night.
Marisa Garcia and Alba Cerrato were on target for the former champions in the Group F encounter.
Spain dominated the game limiting Nigeria to few chances.
Aduku, however, backed his team to bounce back in their next two matches.
“We did not come to the party today, we did not play. But all the same we have two more games to play, we will get it right. Of course, we are going to go through [to the knockout rounds]. I am confident. We did not play today,” Aduku was quoted by FIFA.com.
The Falconets will face China PR in their game on Thursday.
