EPL table: Carrick’s future in limbo as Man Utd’s 4-4 draw with Aston Villa leaves them 18th

Manchester United manager, Michael Carrick, could be sacked this November international break, despite their 4-4 draw with Aston Villa on Sunday.
The Red Devils came into the game sitting in the 19th place, after Sunderland stunned Chelsea 1-0 and climbed above them.
But the game at Old Trafford started badly for the hosts, as Villa went two goals up through Alysson and Nicolas Jackson.
United fought back to draw before half time, thanks to Bruno Fernandes’ penalty and Youri Tielemans’ strike.
Joshua Zirkzee and Patrick Dorgu struck late in the game to stop the Red Devils from losing again in the league.
It remains to be seen if Carrick is still in the job when United travel to Liverpool after the break.
