Paris Saint-Germain manager, Luis Enrique, has revealed why the Ligue 1 champions sold Bradley Barcola to Liverpool this summer.

The Reds will pay £106m for Barcola, with add-ons potentially taking the fee to £123m.

According to Enrique, he could not assure the 23-year-old of enough playing time at the Parc des Princes.

He said: “Barcola grew enormously in Paris, but he also helped the team grow enormously.

“He wanted more playing time than I could guarantee him.

“In the end, I think everyone is a winner with that transfer. I truly wish him all the best.”
