Transfer: ‘A dream come true’ – Azeez speaks on Brighton’s transfer

Nigerian winger, Femi Azeez is excited about his move to Brighton & Hove Albion, DAILY POST reports.
Azeez completed his permanent transfer to the AMEX from Sky Bet Championship club Millwall on transfer deadline day.
Brighton paid €15m to secure his services, making him the most expensive sale in Millwall’s history.
The 25-year-old caught the eye with his impressive performances for Millwall last season.
Azeez, who was named in the PFA Team of the Season, registered 11 goals and eight assists in 37 league appearances in the 2025/26 campaign.
The former Reading star described his transfer to Brighton as a dream come true.
“It’s every young boy’s dream, isn’t it? Something I’ve been dreaming of my whole life, and to be given this opportunity is like a dream come true, really,” he said.
