Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health has directed the country’s Department of Health Service Support (DHSS) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to investigate the cosmetic clinic where UK-based Nigerian influencer, Igho ‘Tiny’ Ubiribo, received hyaluronic acid penis filler injections.

According to PEOPLE, the country’s Minister Pattana Phromphat, in a statement to local media, disclosed that initial investigations by Thai authorities found that an emergency medical centre was contacted by a private hospital in Bangkok to dispatch an ambulance for an unconscious patient.

TVC News Online had earlier reported that ‘Tiny’ died after reportedly suffering complications from a penis enlargement procedure in Thailand. He underwent the cosmetic procedure at an unnamed clinic in Thailand in March 2026 while on vacation with his wife, Danielle Simba Allen.

The Director-General of the Department of Health Service Support, Phuwadet Surakot, said the clinic told investigators that Ubiribo had been receiving treatment there since 2024 and had undergone five penile enlargement injections.

Surakot said the clinic claimed a doctor advised Ubiribo before the March 5 procedure to divide the treatment into two sessions, but he requested that the injections be administered in a single session. The clinic also said he signed a consent form before each treatment and received aftercare instructions.

The authorities will now examine the clinic’s records and other evidence before deciding whether the case should be referred to the Medical Council. “We will gather all facts and evidence to proceed according to our authority and submit the case to the Medical Council for a ruling on professional practice standards, to ensure fairness to all parties,” the Ministry of Public Health said.

According to PEOPLE, an inquest hearing for Ubiribo on August 21 heard that a post-mortem examination and toxicology inquiry found that his cause of death was the hyaluronic acid injection and a pulmonary embolism.

According to inquest records obtained by PEOPLE, Ubiribo began complaining of chest pains and collapsed on March 5, several hours after the cosmetic procedure, and he was rushed to a local hospital to receive a CT scan, though he lost consciousness before doctors could perform it. He received CPR for 101 minutes before he was pronounced dead at 1:05 a.m. on March 6, the records added.

Ubiribo maintained a following of more than 180,000 on Instagram, where he shared his life of luxury with his wife, Dani Allen.

Ubiribo seemingly shared his final post to Instagram on Nov. 11 — photos with artist Davido. “Almost two decades in the game! I’m super proud of my little brother; it can only be GOD. We went from Boys To Men👊🏽” he penned in the caption.
