The governor said maintaining open communication with different communities would help strengthen collaboration and ensure that residents across the state benefited from government initiatives.
“The Arewa community has always been an important part of our state’s story. Keeping the lines of communication open helps ensure we all succeed together,” he said.

Sanwo-Olu also commended the community for its grassroots support and role in mobilising residents around the administration’s vision.
“I appreciate their strong support at the grassroots level,” he said.
“They consistently bring people together around our shared vision, standing firmly behind HE President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Deputy Governor Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat and our administration.”

The governor’s engagement with the South-West Arewa Community comes as the Lagos administration continues to emphasise stakeholder engagement and collaboration with different communities as part of its governance agenda.
