A surveillance video has captured a frightening confrontation outside a row of shops.
The footage reviewed by ibynews.com shows several people standing and sitting near a building when a man wearing a white shirt approaches.
He appears to raise an object resembling a handgun and point it at another man.
No shot can be heard or seen in the footage. The suspected weapon appears to malfunction, giving the targeted man time to react.
The man initially moves backwards before confronting the suspected attacker.
Several people nearby then rush towards the pair as a struggle begins. The suspected attacker eventually runs from the scene while others follow him.
The video does not reveal what happened after the chase.
The location, identities of the people involved and circumstances leading to the confrontation have not been independently confirmed.
There is also no reliable information about arrests, injuries or whether the object was recovered and confirmed to be a working firearm.
Although the original post describes the attacker as a hitman, the footage alone does not prove his identity, motive or whether someone hired him.
