Kebbi: Senator Maidoki demands stronger action against banditry, kidnapping in Zuru

Senator representing Kebbi South, Garba Musa Maidoki, has called for stronger government action against banditry and kidnapping in Zuru Emirate, Kebbi State.

Maidoki made the call during a civic engagement organised for members of the Zuru Emirate Council residing in Kaduna State by the Zuru Emirate Development Society.

He said insecurity continued to affect the lives and livelihoods of residents in the area, stressing the need for stronger security measures to protect communities and enable residents to carry out their economic and social activities without fear.

The senator also urged eligible voters to use their Permanent Voter Cards wisely by electing credible and competent leaders capable of addressing their concerns and improving their wellbeing.

He advised voters to examine the records, competence and credibility of candidates before casting their ballots in the 2027 general elections.

Maidoki said the engagement was part of an ongoing voter sensitisation exercise aimed at preparing constituents within and outside Kebbi South for the forthcoming elections.
