JUST IN: Court convicts Duane ‘Keffe D’ Davis of killing Tupac

A Las Vegas jury has found Duane “Keffe D” Davis guilty of first-degree murder with the use of a deadly weapon in the 1996 killing of American rapper Tupac Shakur.
The verdict comes nearly 30 years after the rap icon was killed in a drive-by shooting near the Las Vegas Strip.
Davis is the only person ever charged in connection with Shakur’s killing.
Prosecutors accused Davis of orchestrating the attack and providing the firearm used in the shooting.
Shakur was shot on September 7, 1996, while travelling in a vehicle with Death Row Records co-founder Marion “Suge” Knight. He died six days later at the age of 25.
The case remained unsolved for decades before Davis was arrested in 2023.
The conviction marks a major development in one of the most closely watched unsolved murder cases in hip-hop history.
