INEC Opens INECPRES Portal For 2027 Election Ad-Hoc Staff Recruitment

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has commenced preparations for the recruitment of ad-hoc personnel for the 2027 General Election through its INECPRES platform.

The recruitment covers positions including Supervisory Presiding Officers, Presiding Officers, Assistant Presiding Officers, Registration Area Centre Managers and Registration Area Technical Support personnel.

According to information published on INEC’s official INECPRES platform, eligible applicants are required to register through the Commission’s designated portal and meet the criteria specified for their preferred positions.

The available categories include federal public and civil servants, serving and former National Youth Service Corps members, tertiary students, relevant MDA staff, heads of schools hosting Registration Area Centres, INEC ICT personnel and qualified IT students.

The official INECPRES portal provides applicants with eligibility requirements and registration procedures.

INEC says prospective applicants should have a functional email address and phone number, a personal bank account, recent passport photograph, valid staff or student identification where applicable, relevant NYSC call-up information for eligible corps members, qualification documents and a valid means of identification.
