A businessman whose shop in Ilesha, Osun State, was reportedly burgled a few days ago has expressed gratitude to Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, lawyer Pelumi Olajengbesi and the Adeleke family after receiving ₦20 million in financial support.

The man had previously cried out after his shop was burgled, with several phones and laptops reportedly stolen during the incident.

Following the incident, he said Pelumi Olajengbesi contacted him and subsequently informed him about assistance being provided to him.

In a video shared online, the businessman confirmed that he had received ₦20 million and thanked those he said contributed to the intervention.

“Nigerians, Barrister Pelumi Olajengbesi, he called me yesterday and now I received ₦20 million. I thank Governor Adeleke, the father of youths, thank you very much. I thank the Adelekes family. I just received alert of ₦20 million. I thank you very much….”

He specifically appreciated Governor Ademola Adeleke, whom he referred to as “the father of youths,” as well as the Adeleke family and Olajengbesi for coming to his aid following the reported burglary.

The development comes after the shop owner’s appeal for help attracted attention online, with the latest financial intervention offering support following the reported loss of his business equipment.
