BBNaija Season 11: 15 Housemates Face Evic

The ongoing Big Brother Naija Season 11 reality show has entered another dramatic phase, with 15 housemates facing possible eviction in Week 6, after Big Brother cancelled an earlier nomination and save exercise over an alleged breach of the rules.

The development followed a warning from Biggie over discussions and alleged conspiracies surrounding nominations among the housemates. 

As a result, the previously announced saves were nullified, leaving all eligible housemates vulnerable except the Head of House, Abi, and the Most Influential Player of the Week, Sheba.

The 15 housemates currently facing possible eviction are Aikou, Araga, Barry, Bells, Bluethopia, Chimsom Chuka, Flora, Gerard, Keivo, Nomy, Oyin, Ricky, Temi Nkem, Tram and Yusuf.

Abi secured immunity after winning the Week Six Head of House challenge for the second time this season, becoming the second housemate after Chimsom Chuka to achieve the feat.

Following her victory, Abi selected Temi Nkem as her Loft Mate. However, the privilege did not extend to Temi, who remains on the eviction list.

Sheba, on the other hand, secured immunity after emerging as the Most Influential Player of the Week. The status protects her from the current eviction.

Unlike previous weeks, Abi does not have the usual opportunity to save or replace a nominated housemate, meaning the 15 contestants will have to rely on the public vote to remain in the competition.

Season 11, with the theme: “Show Ya Sef,” premiered on July 26, 2026, with 24 contestants entering the Big Brother house to compete for the grand prize, initially announced at ₦160 million.

The prize package includes ₦100 million in cash, an SUV and other sponsored prizes.

So far, seven contestants have left the house, comprising six evictions and one voluntary exit.

Martins and Mercedes were the first contestants to leave the show in Week Two, after they were evicted on August 9, 2026.

In Week 3, Kamsy became the third evicted housemate after receiving 2.41 percent of the public vote, while Neche voluntarily exited the show on August 16.

Neche’s departure was not recorded as an eviction because she chose to leave the competition herself after previously serving as Head of House.

Cassi became the fourth evicted housemate in Week Four after leaving the show on August 23, following a public vote in which she received 5.27 percent of the votes.

Week 5 witnessed a double eviction, with Sultex and Goddessa becoming the fifth and sixth housemates to leave the competition on August 30.

Sultex had previously secured the Most Influential Player title in Week 3, earning immunity during the subsequent eviction process.

Another major twist this season has involved Aikou and Flora, who were initially designated as Gambits. Under the arrangement, the pair were guaranteed a place in the house until the finale but were initially ineligible to compete for the grand prize.

After spending five weeks under the Gambit arrangement, Biggie introduced “Operation Release the Gambit”, allowing viewers to decide whether Aikou and Flora should return as regular contestants.

The pair were subsequently released from the Gambit status and became eligible to compete for the grand prize. 

However, their return to the main competition has also exposed them to the possibility of eviction, with both now among the 15 housemates facing the public vote.

With 17 contestants currently remaining in the house, the latest development has created one of the most competitive eviction battles of the season.

The cancellation of the earlier saves has also disrupted the housemates’ strategies, forcing contestants who previously believed themselves to be protected to campaign for viewers’ votes.

As the competition progresses, alliances, rivalries, relationships and individual strategies are expected to play an increasingly important role, with the remaining housemates battling to stay in the race for the ₦160 million prize.
