In the year under review, PSG won both the Ligue 1 and Champions League titles.

Players like current Ballon d’Or winner Ousmane Dembele, Khvicha Kvaratskheli, Desire Doue and Joao Neves shone for the French club.

Another PSG player, Fabian Ruiz, also won the 2026 World Cup with Spain.

Speaking to the media on Thursday, Enrique said: “The Ballon d’Or should go to a PSG player.

“We have players who have won the Champions League. We have Fábian, who won the World Cup as well. We have  Ousmane who won the Ballon d’Or last season.

“That’s my opinion but I’m not interested in individual awards.”
