Transfer: Super Falcons defender seals permanent move to Aston Villa

Aston Villa Women have announced the signing of Super Falcons defender Rofiat Imuran on a permanent deal.
Imuran is Villa’s ninth signing of the summer transfer window.
The left-back joins Natalia Arroyo’s side from London City Lionesses.
The 22-year-old started her professional career in France with Stade de Reims, making 27 league appearances and scoring seven goals across two seasons.
Imuran made the switch to London City Lionesses in 2024.
She was part of the Super Falcons squads for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup and the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
