Transfer: Atletico Madrid pick two players to sign as Julian Alvarez’s replacement

Atletico Madrid have reportedly identified two players as potential replacements for Julian Alvarez should the Argentina international leave the club before the summer transfer window closes.
Alvarez has already told Atletico Madrid that he wants to leave the LaLiga side for Barcelona.
Atletico Madrid have ruled out any possibility of selling the former Manchester City star to Barcelona.
Diego Simeone’s side are open to selling Alvarez to Arsenal or any other club, but not the Blaugrana.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta wants to sign Alvarez to bolster his attack after failing to sign Morgan Rogers and Vinicius Junior.
According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Atletico are now preparing for life without Alvarez and have identified two possible replacements for the 26-year-old: Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus and Nottingham Forest’s Igor Jesus.
