President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed condolences to former Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, following the death of her husband, Anthony Adeniyi Adeosun, who passed away on Wednesday at the age of 62.
In a statement issued on Thursday by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu extended his sympathies to the Adeosun family, friends and business associates, urging them to take solace in the late Adeosun’s legacy of steadfast faith, community service and charity.
The President acknowledged the tributes that have followed Anthony Adeosun’s passing, noting testimonies of his commitment to supporting the less privileged and his enduring impact on those whose lives he touched.
President Tinubu prayed for God to grant Kemi Adeosun and the entire Adeosun family strength and comfort during the period of mourning, while also praying for the peaceful repose of the deceased.
