Shopkeeper Fights Back In Dramatic CCTV Footage As Customer’s Powdered JuJu Sprinkled On Him Fails To Work

A customer’s alleged attempt to rob a jewellery shop in Ranip, Ahmedabad, India, ended unsuccessfully after the shopkeeper quickly recovered from her attack and prevented her from escaping with any valuables.

According to reports, the customer, who’s a female entered the jewellery store pretending to be a customer before suddenly throwing chilli powder at the shopkeeper’s face in what appeared to be an attempt to distract and disorient him.

The CCTV footage from the shop captured the dramatic moment as the incident unfolded within seconds.

After being briefly affected by the chilli powder, the jeweller managed to regain control of the situation and confronted the woman before she could grab any jewellery.

The shopkeeper was reportedly able to force the suspect out of the store, bringing the attempted robbery to an end.

No jewellery was stolen during the incident, and no serious injuries were reported.

Following the failed robbery attempt, police launched an investigation to identify and locate the woman. The police is also working to determine whether she acted alone or had accomplices waiting outside the shop.

The incident has sparked reactions online, with many people praising the shopkeeper’s quick response while also highlighting the need for increased security measures at businesses dealing with valuable items.

Police are expected to review the CCTV footage and gather further evidence as investigations continue.
