NNL: Sokoto United to resume training August 24 ahead of new season

Sokoto United FC have announced Monday, August 24th, as resumption date for pre-season preparations ahead the 2026-27 Nigeria National League season.
The club made the announcement in an official statement signed by the Media Manager, Abdulsalam Ibrahim Imam.
All the coaches and retained players are expected to report on or before the resumption date.
Sokoto United added that they will also commence trials for new players to strengthen the squad.
Only players officially invited by the club are expected to report for the exercise.
The club noted that players who arrive without invitation will be responsible for their own feeding, transportation and other personal expenses.
The management urged all players and coaches to return fully prepared, focused, and committed for a successful 2026-27 campaign.
