Martins Iyeh and Mercedes have been evicted from the ongoing Big Brother Naija ‘Show Ya Sef’ season, becoming the first housemates to leave the reality show.
Their eviction was announced during the live eviction show on Sunday, bringing an end to their stay in the Big Brother house.
Martins, a creative director and model from Kogi State, had spent two weeks in the house before his eviction.
His exit came on his birthday, making the occasion an emotional one for the housemate and his fans.
Mercedes also exited the competition during the eviction show, reducing the number of housemates still battling for the season’s grand prize.
The latest evictions mark the first major departures from the ‘Show Ya Sef’ season, with the remaining housemates expected to intensify their campaign for viewers’ votes as the competition progresses.
The BBNaija housemates are competing for the season’s grand prize, alongside other rewards and sponsored prizes, with the winner to be determined through a combination of the show’s voting and eviction process.
