Atiku Arrives Osogbo for ADC Campaign Finale Ahead of Osun Guber Poll

Atiku Abubakar has arrived in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, to support the African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate, Najeem Folasayo Salaam, ahead of Saturday’s governorship election.

The ADC presidential candidate disclosed this in a post via his X handle on Monday, August 10.

Abubakar said he arrived in the state alongside a delegation of political associates to participate in the party’s grand finale campaign rally for Salaam, popularly known as Iwaloye.

He said the visit was aimed at rallying support for the ADC candidate and making a final appeal to voters ahead of the election.

“We are here to rally support for our candidate and make a final appeal to the people of Osun State to entrust the ADC with the responsibility of delivering purposeful leadership, good governance and a better future for all,” Abubakar said.

He added that he was in Osogbo to “stand with our governorship candidate, Dr Najeem Folasayo Salaam (Iwaloye), and our great party, the African Democratic Congress (ADC),” at the final campaign event.

The former vice president is expected to join other ADC leaders and supporters at the campaign finale as the party intensifies its efforts to secure victory in the August 15 poll.
