WATCH: ‘Accept My Love and I’ll Make Sure You Pass’ — Teacher Accused of Pressuring Student for Relationship in Exchange for Grades Reportedly Found Dead
Busia residents have been left shocked after a teacher who recently went viral on TikTok over allegations of inappropriate conduct involving a female student was reportedly found dead under mysterious circumstances.
The teacher had become the subject of intense online discussion after a video allegedly showed him pressuring a student into a relationship in exchange for favorable examination results. The clip spread rapidly across social media platforms, attracting widespread condemnation from members of the public and education stakeholders.
In the days following the video’s circulation, local authorities reportedly launched inquiries into the allegations while school administrators faced mounting pressure to take disciplinary action.
According to residents, news of the teacher’s death emerged early Tuesday morning after his body was discovered near a roadside several kilometers from his residence. The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear.
Police officers quickly cordoned off the area and began gathering evidence. Investigators declined to comment on whether the death could be linked to the controversy that had engulfed the teacher in recent weeks.
“We are treating this as an active investigation and urge the public not to speculate while inquiries are ongoing,” a police spokesperson reportedly said.
The incident has generated fresh debate on social media, with many users calling for patience until authorities establish the facts surrounding both the allegations and the teacher’s death.
