As political maneuvering intensifies ahead of the 2027 general elections, prominent legal practitioner Nnadiume Awfokansi has stated that former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi remains the only genuine threat and potent opposition to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) administration.
According to him, the state apparatus is heavily focused on musling opposition platforms specifically to prevent Obi from appearing on the ballot.
