Gbajabiamila: ‘There Are More Scammers Operating In Govt’ – Former Minister, Dalung
Former Minister of Sports and Youths Development, Solomon Dalung, has asserted that there are more scammers operating in the current administration of President Bola Tinubu.
NEWSNGR reports that Dalung made this known on Friday in an interview on Trust TV, while reacting to the saga between ‘the Director-General of the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC)’, Adeniyi Adeyemi, and Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila.
Recall that Adeyemi had alleged that Gbajabiamila received ₦400 million through a proxy and demanded an additional ₦200 million to secure his appointment.
However, the Presidency debunked the allegation, saying Gbajabiamila cannot write letters or give appointments.
Speaking on the development, Dalung said that the statement from the presidency suggests the government has collapsed and that more scammers are operating within it.
He said, “If we are to believe the story of the government, then the government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has collapsed, and it should resign, because it means there are even more scammers operating in the government.
“It also means that the agencies, which are existing today, we don’t know which one to trust that is not a fictitious agency.
“Now, if we are to believe the government, the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is talking this, that scammer also scammed the Senate.
“If this scammer has succeeded in all these layers. I will recommend the President to award this Nigerian, Adeyemi an award of the Grand Commander of the Order of Niger, GCON, because he is a very intelligent and smart Nigerian that we need to process this intelligence and deploy it for the development of Nigeria.”
