BBNaija S11: Temi Nkem Clashes With Housemates Over English During First Task

Big Brother Naija Season 11 contestant, Temi Nkem, was involved in one of the first disagreements of the “Show Ya Sef” edition after expressing frustration over her fellow housemates’ inability to understand her while reading Big Brother’s instructions.
The incident occurred on Sunday, the opening day of the reality show, after Big Brother instructed a housemate to visit the Diary Room and collect the week’s guidelines for everyone in the house.
Temi Nkem, who revealed that she studied in the United Kingdom, volunteered for the assignment. After returning from the Diary Room, she began reading the instructions to the other contestants.
However, several housemates struggled to follow what she was saying, insisting they could not clearly understand her delivery. The confusion interrupted the task and created an awkward atmosphere in the house.
Apparently irritated by the repeated requests for clarification, Temi Nkem questioned her fellow contestants, asking, “Are you children that you don’t understand English? How is it possible that you don’t understand English?”
Her comments sparked an early clash among the housemates, making it one of the first tense moments of the new season.
Before entering the BBNaija house, the 21-year-old said she intended to bring confidence, strategy, and determination to the competition as she battles for the grand prize.
