“I ask myself if I’ll ever get married” – Uber driver shares experiences with female passengers

An Uber driver has stirred reactions online after sharing some of the experiences he has allegedly had while transporting female passengers.

According to him, he has repeatedly noticed a pattern among certain ladies who allegedly tell their partners one thing but end up doing something completely different.

In his word, he said:

“This is not the first time, second time, not even the third time that I will pick up a lady, and you will think they are going for a get-together. It’s the same strategy, different ladies, but the same lie.”

The driver claimed that some women tell their boyfriends they are attending a birthday party, office gathering, or social event, only for him to later discover that they were heading somewhere else entirely.

He further alleged that some of them even prepare excuses in advance, telling their partners that they may not be reachable because of noise at the event, making them less suspicious and discouraging them from making repeated calls.

“They will tell their boyfriend, ‘When I get there, it will be noisy and we may not be able to talk until tomorrow.’ But when we get to the destination, na so so men them dey go meet. Once we arrive, the man they came to meet will come out and pay the fare,” he added.

The driver’s claims have generated mixed reactions online. While some people agreed with his observations, others argued that his experiences do not represent all women.

He added that some of the things he has witnessed since becoming a ride-hailing driver have made him question relationships and marriage, noting that certain experiences still leave him shocked.
