Governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde has taken delivery of two surveillance aircraft to enhance the security architecture of the state.
Governor Makinde took delivery of the aircraft at the tarmac of the newly upgraded Samule Ladoke Akintola airport in Ibadan.
The development is coming one year after he made an official announcement of the procurement of the aircraft to boost security activities in the state.
The aircraft is expected to enhance aerial surveillance, intelligence gathering, and rapid response to criminal activities, particularly in forests and other hard-to-reach areas.
