APC hails Tinubu, Wike over construction of justices’ quarters, others
The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday, June 18, 2026, commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, for the commissioning of the new Court of Appeal Complex and 20-unit residential quarters for Court of Appeal Justices and Federal High Court Judges in Abuja.
The party also praised the President and the FCT Minister for the upcoming commissioning of another 20-unit residential quarters for FCT High Court Judges.
In a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the APC said the projects are designed to upgrade facilities and build capacity in the justice sector to meet 21st-century standards.
Morka noted that the delivery of these judicial infrastructure projects reflects President Tinubu’s commitment to strengthening democratic institutions, promoting the rule of law, upholding judicial independence, and ensuring the dignity and welfare of judicial officers.
“The APC recognises that the provision of world-class court facilities and quality accommodation for judicial officers represents a strategic investment in the administration of justice and the consolidation of democratic governance.
“By improving the working and living conditions of judicial officers, the administration is promoting judicial efficiency while reinforcing public confidence in our justice system,” Morka said.
The APC described Wike as a committed and result-oriented leader, while commending his effective and timely execution of the projects in line with President Tinubu’s vision for institutional reform, infrastructure development, and national progress.
“On the occasion of the third anniversary of President Tinubu’s administration, this massive boost to judicial infrastructure in the FCT reaffirms that effective justice delivery, respect for the rule of law, and the fostering of a vibrant democratic culture remain central to Nigeria’s development and prosperity,” Morka added.
