The Nigeria National League, NNL, has warned clubs to comply with the directives and decisions of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Players’ Status and Arbitration Committee.

The league organisers said compliance was mandatory as player registration continued for the new season.
The NNL Chief Operating Officer, Danlami Alanana, said clubs that failed to comply with the arbitration decisions risked being barred from registering players.

“All cases of the Players’ Arbitration Committee, whose decisions have been taken and communicated to clubs, must be complied with, or the NNL will not register players of the affected clubs,” Alanana stated in a statement on Tuesday.
Alanana added that where payments or settlements had been agreed with affected players and coaches through the NFF, evidence of compliance must be communicated to all parties, and clearance obtained from the federation.

The new NNL season will commence on Saturday, October 31, with a Conference A opener between Heartland FC and Crown FC in Owerri.
