Troops, NDLEA arrest nine suspected drug peddlers in Delta
Troops of the 90 Amphibious Battalion, in collaboration with operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), have arrested nine suspected drug peddlers in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State.
According to security sources who spoke to Zagazola Makama, the suspects were arrested at about 11:40 p.m. on September 26, 2026, during an operation in Oghara community.
The operation led to the recovery of 13 sachets of 100mg Tramadol, one carton of Codeine, two cartons of cough syrup, 25 grammes of suspected cannabis and 25 sachets of cannabis-cake recipe.
“The suspects and the recovered items were subsequently handed over to the NDLEA office in Sapele for further investigation and appropriate action,” the sources said.
