Traffic is moving slowly along the Otedola Bridge inward Berger/Kara following an accident involving a container-laden truck on Kara Bridge.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) said in an update on X that the slow movement extends from Otedola Bridge down to Opic Turning.
According to the agency, vehicular movement is also gradual inward Opic Turning, with the resulting backlog spreading beyond Long Bridge.
“LASTMA personnel are already at Opic turning to manage the situation,” the agency said.
The traffic update followed an earlier post by LASTMA on the accident involving a container-laden truck which lost control on Kara Bridge while moving out of Lagos.
The agency said its Digital Media and Communications Team arrived at the scene to provide aerial coverage of the recovery and evacuation of the truck and container involved in the accident.
LASTMA advised motorists using the route to exercise caution and expect delays as traffic management and recovery operations continue.
