TERROR ALERT: Large Motorcycle Convoys Mobilizing Southwest of Jos Ahead of Planned Attacks

JOS, Plateau State, Nigeria — Large convoys of motorcycles, each carrying three armed Fulani militiamen, have been spotted moving southwest to southeast of Jos, Plateau State capital, to reinforce existing deployments ahead of planned attacks on Christian communities in Riyom, Barkin Ladi and Mangu LGAs, TruthNigeria has learned.
Sources told TruthNigeria the convoys are believed to have mobilized from Rankum, a former Christian community now renamed Mahanga after it was seized by armed Fulani militia, according to local residents.
Mahanga is located approximately 35 miles southwest of Jos in a cluster of suspected terrorist camps including Kafi-Abu, Fass [now renamed Tafawa], and Gida Jalo, among others, which are also believed to have contributed fighters to the current mobilization.

• Jong and surrounding neighborhoods
Security sources warn that all villages neighboring the listed areas should remain on high alert, as the attackers may launch diversionary or opportunistic attacks on alternative targets depending on circumstances.
Residents are advised to exercise extreme vigilance, avoid late movement, and report any suspicious movement to local vigilantes, security agencies, and community leaders immediately.
