Solomon Buchi Accuses Peller Of False, Damaging Allegation

A social-media dispute between life coach and writer Solomon Buchi and Nigerian streamer Habeeb “Peller” Olalomi has taken a dramatic turn after Buchi accused the TikToker of making a false and damaging allegation about his marriage.
Key Highlights:
- Solomon Buchi accused Peller of spreading a false claim about his marriage.
- Peller allegedly claimed Buchi slept with another person’s wife.
- Buchi said the allegation caused him severe emotional distress.
- He reported Peller to the UK Metropolitan Police.
- The dispute could lead to legal action if evidence supports Buchi’s claims.
The controversy erupted after Peller reportedly claimed during a livestream in London that Buchi had allegedly “slept with someone’s wife.”
Peller also questioned Buchi’s character, saying he has heard a story about the life coach from an unidentified source.
However, Peller did not publicly identify the person who allegedly gave him the information or provide evidence to substantiate the claim.
Buchi has now hit back, describing the allegation as deeply damaging and false, while revealing that the controversy allegedly took a serious toll on his well-being.
In a statement shared on his Instagram page, Buchi claimed that Peller’s allegation caused him to suffer what he described as a nervous breakdown, adding that the episode had reportedly been documented by his lawyer.
Buchi said he has reported Peller to the Metropolitan Police in the UK, escalating the dispute from an online war of words into a matter potentially involving legal scrutiny.
The development has raised the stakes considerably because an allegation of infidelity involving another person’s spouse can carry serious reputational consequences, particularly when broadcast to a large online audience.
If Buchi pursues the matter legally and a court finds that Peller unlawfully published a false allegation that caused serious reputational harm, defamation proceedings could expose him to financial damages and court orders requiring the removal or cessation of publication of the offending material.

Under the UK Defamation Act 2013, a claimant must establish that publication has caused or is likely to cause serious harm to their reputation. The court can also order removal or cessation of distribution of defamatory material.
The consequences could become more serious if investigators establish evidence of a separate criminal offence. For example, UK law contains offences covering certain knowingly false communications intended to cause non-trivial psychological or physical harm.
However, Peller would not automatically face imprisonment simply because Buchi reported him to police or because the allegation is disputed. Whether any criminal offence has been committed would depend on the evidence, the precise content and circumstances of the communication, and the applicable law.
The controversy could also potentially have consequences beyond a single social-media post if there were evidence of a continuing course of conduct amounting to harassment. UK harassment law provides for criminal penalties in qualifying cases as well as civil remedies, including damages and injunctions.
Buchi insists the cheating claim was false and says it caused him significant distress. Peller, meanwhile, has reportedly presented the claim as information he received from another person rather than an allegation based on something he personally witnessed.
