SECURITY ALERT: SUSPECTED MILITIA ATTACK THREAT IN RIGWE COMMUNITIES
JOS, Nigeria — Intelligence indicates a planned attack by suspected Fulani militia on several native communities in Rigwe Chiefdom Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State, potentially beginning tonight, September 8, or at any moment thereafter.
The threatened communities include Miango, Jebbu, Dantanko and Rangel, located west and northwest of Jos, with adjoining villages also reportedly at risk. Residents should remain vigilant, avoid isolated roads and night travel, secure homes and farms, and immediately report suspicious movements to security agencies and community leaders.
