Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, has felicitated with the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Brigadier General Mohamed Buba Marwa (rtd), on his 73rd birthday.

Governor Fintiri described Marwa as a fine soldier, an illustrious son of Adamawa State and a national asset whose decades of service have continued to inspire generations.

In a congratulatory message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, Fintiri commended Marwa’s contributions to the development of Adamawa State and Nigeria.

The governor said Marwa’s experience as a retired brigadier general and former military governor, coupled with his discipline, leadership and patriotism, had left lasting marks on the state and the country.
