A road user has shared footage of a car crash that occurred at Barekese on Saturday afternoon, September 12, 2026, after the driver reportedly lost control of his vehicle and flipped it several times along the road.
According to the account accompanying the video, the driver was startled mid-journey by blasting activities said to have been carried out by Chinese nationals operating in the vicinity, an unexpected disturbance that allegedly threw him off and caused him to lose control of the vehicle.
The car ultimately somersaulted off the road, coming to rest overturned in the thick grass beside the roadway.
The driver is reported to have sustained injuries as a result of the crash, though the full extent of his condition has not yet been disclosed.
