A CCTV camera inside a shop has captured the astonishing moment a thief made his entrance not through the door, but straight down from the ceiling, in a break-in so unconventional it’s since drawn comparisons to a certain web-slinging superhero.
The footage shows the shirtless intruder squeezing through an opening above and lowering himself into the shop with practiced ease, navigating the tight, cluttered space between shelves and stock with surprising agility.
Once inside, he moved through the aisles quietly, working his way past electronics and packaged goods stacked along the walls as the camera recorded every second of his unlikely entry.
Online, viewers who came across the clip couldn’t help but liken his movements to Spider-Man, pointing to the way he scaled and maneuvered through what looked like an almost impossible access point, one most people would assume too tight or too high to exploit.
His bare-chested climb through the roofing has since become the standout detail of the footage, overshadowing even the theft itself in conversations around the video.
