Betta Edu Mobilises Thousands Of Kwara Women For Tinubu’s 2027 Re-election

Thousands of women in Kwara South Senatorial District have been mobilised for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

The mobilisation, held in Offa, the headquarters of Kwara South, was part of the ongoing nationwide grassroots activation exercise reportedly targeting 176,846 communities.

The exercise was coordinated by Hon. Taiye Mutiat Omotosho, honorary assistant to Dr Betta Edu, Director of Women Mobilisation of the APC Presidential Campaign Council.

Addressing the women through her representative, Edu said women across Kwara South were ready to mobilise support for Tinubu and other All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates in the 2027 elections.

She said the women would commence door-to-door mobilisation once approval was given by the APC women mobilisation directorate.

“Dr Betta asked me to inform you that she is coming in person to address you and bring the message of Renewed Hope 2.0 of Mr President and his beautiful, hardworking wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, to you all,” she said.

The women expressed support for Tinubu and the APC, pledging to extend the mobilisation to communities, wards and polling units across the senatorial district.

They also declared their readiness to undertake grassroots, door-to-door engagement ahead of the 2027 polls, with women expected to play a key role in the APC’s campaign structure.

Omotosho thanked the participants for their turnout and urged them to sustain the momentum, unity and grassroots engagement.

She said the mobilisation marked the beginning of a broader effort to strengthen the APC women’s structure across Kwara State and the country ahead of the 2027 elections.
