Barcelona maintained their perfect start to the LaLiga season with a dominant 7-2 victory over Racing de Santander at home.
Hansi Flick’s side were in complete control for large periods, securing their sixth league win of the campaign and remaining top of the table.
João Cancelo opened the scoring after just eight minutes with a stunning strike from around 25 metres. The Portuguese defender’s effort crashed in off the underside of the crossbar and into the far top corner.
Barcelona doubled their advantage midway through the first half when Raphinha converted from the penalty spot after Pedro Felipe brought him down inside the area.
Racing Santander reduced the deficit through Maguette Gueye, who controlled the ball before bundling his effort into the net.

Barcelona restored their two-goal advantage when a Cancelo shot deflected off Asier Villalibre and into the net to make it 3-1.
Raphinha then scored his second of the night before half-time after being played in by Dani Olmo, giving Barcelona a commanding 4-1 lead.
The hosts had an opportunity to extend their advantage further when they were awarded another penalty, but Julen Agirrezabala saved Lamine Yamal’s effort.
Santander pulled another goal back midway through the second half after Barcelona goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny made a costly error.
Szczęsny, who replaced the injured Joan García at half-time, lost possession to Yassir Zabiri, who took advantage to make it 4-2.
Barcelona quickly regained control, with Raphinha converting another penalty to complete his hat-trick and restore the three-goal cushion.
Substitute Gabriel Jesus then added a sixth, placing his effort into the far corner before Yamal completed the rout on the counter-attack to make it 7-2.
The victory keeps Barcelona as the only team with a 100 per cent record in LaLiga, with Flick’s side sitting at the top of the table. Racing Santander remain 10th.
