Anambra will vote Tinubu, APC in 2027, says Ekwunife

As the 2027 general elections gather momentum, the All Progressives Congress senatorial candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial District, Senator Uche Ekwunife, has declared that her supporters and the people of Anambra remain committed to the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and all other APC candidates in the state.
Ekwunife, who is also the South-East Zonal Director of the APC Presidential Campaign Council for President Tinubu’s election, made the declaration during a one-day Anambra Central stakeholders’ meeting with local government and ward officials held at the Uche Ekwunife Centre, Awka, on Saturday.
She said Anambra was committed to ensuring the victory of the APC at all levels in the 2027 elections in the state.
The senatorial hopeful added that her campaign supporters and party stakeholders had also passed a vote of confidence in President Tinubu, reiterating her full commitment to delivering victory to the APC at all levels in the 2027 general elections.
She said, “My interest and the interest of all APC candidates as well as the interest of all other committed members of our great party is to ensure that President Tinubu wins from ‘top to bottom and bottom to top in Anambra.
“I will ensure that Anambra leads the country in delivering massive votes for President Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election on January 16, 2027.
“We must not be deceived by the All Progressives Grand Alliance slogan of ‘Progressives are working together in Anambra’. We must vote for Tinubu to enable him complete the developmental projects he has started in the South-East region.
“We must be committed and work hard to ensure our working President wins from top to bottom in Anambra State. Anambra must join the ruling team to improve in all sectors of human existence and this can only come to reality when we all sacrifice our political energy.
“As a structural politician, I can tell you, the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, Ebonyi State governor, Francis Nwifuru and their Enugu counterpart, Peter Mbah are really making APC proud in the South-East region.”
Ekwunife pledged to move Anambra Central Senatorial District to the next level if given the opportunity to return to the Senate in 2027.
In his remarks, the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the APC, Ben Nwoye, urged the supporters not to be deceived by the APGA’s slogan of “Progressives are working together,” describing it as a “fallacy”.
He expressed confidence that the APC would emerge victorious in 2027.
In his remarks, the APC candidate for Idemili North/South Federal Constituency, Kingsley Ezekwelu, while commending Ekwunife for the event, reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring a record-breaking victory for the APC in the presidential, National Assembly and State Assembly elections.
Ezekwelu also commended the media for their continuous support for the APC-led Federal Government.
At the end of the meeting, supporters unanimously passed a vote of confidence in President Tinubu and Senator Ekwunife.
They also pledged to intensify grassroots mobilisation and work collectively for the success of the APC at all levels in the 2027 general elections.
Other members present at the event included the APC candidate for Dunukofia/Njikoka/Anaocha Federal Constituency, Elijah Onyeagba; APC Deputy National Organising Secretary, Emeka Okafor; and APC Women Leader (South-East), Dr Oby Achi.
