The death of British-Nigerian businessman and social media influencer Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo has attracted renewed attention after a UK coroner linked his death to complications from a penile-filler procedure performed in Thailand.

Ubiribo, 43, died in March 2026 while on holiday in Bangkok with his wife, Danielle Simba Allen. An inquest at the Inner West London Coroners’ Court found that the cosmetic procedure was followed by a fatal pulmonary embolism.

1. He was a British-Nigerian businessman and influencer

Ubiribo was a British-Nigerian entrepreneur and social media personality who built a public profile around business, luxury lifestyle and travel content.

Igho Ubiribo was reportedly born on 25th March, 1982 in Sapele, Delta State, Nigeria. He was Urhobo by tribe and Christianity by religion

He reportedly had more than 180,000 followers on Instagram, where he regularly showcased his lifestyle and interactions with prominent personalities.

2. He was also known as “Tiny”, “Denisi” and “Ego”

Ubiribo was widely identified online by the names “Tiny,” “Denisi” and “Ego.”

The aliases appeared frequently in reports about his lifestyle, business activities and relationships within African entertainment circles.

3. He died during a holiday in Thailand

Ubiribo travelled to Bangkok, Thailand, with his wife, Danielle Simba Allen, in March.

According to evidence reported from the inquest, he underwent the cosmetic procedure while in Bangkok and later became seriously ill. He experienced chest pain and lost consciousness while receiving a massage before being taken to hospital.

He died on March 6, 2026, aged 43.

4. He underwent a penile-filler procedure (Penis Enlargement Procedure)

The inquest heard that Ubiribo underwent an elective cosmetic penile enlargement procedure at an unidentified clinic in Thailand.

About 40 millilitres of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine were injected during the procedure, according to reports on the coroner’s proceedings.

The procedure was intended to increase the size or girth of the penis.

5. His official cause of death was pulmonary embolism

A UK coroner concluded that Ubiribo died from a pulmonary embolism, a potentially fatal blockage affecting blood flow in the lungs.

The inquest linked the embolism to the cosmetic treatment. A postmortem examination reportedly found material consistent with the filler in his lungs.

Reports from the inquest said the injected material entered his bloodstream and travelled to his lungs, resulting in the fatal complication.
