“Who does that?” – Lady rejects Android users, sets ₦10 million requirement for suitors

A Nigerian lady has stirred reactions online after revealing that she cannot date a man who uses an Android phone, claiming such men do not meet her standards.
Speaking in a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), she associated Android users with being broke, adding that any man interested in dating her must have between ₦5 million and ₦10 million in his account.
In her words, she said:
“I can’t date a guy that uses an Android phone. He’s so low to my liking. It sounds so local. I will always see you as a broke and poor man. I make use of an iPhone 6.”
A guy must have at least ₦5 million to ₦10 million in his account to ask me out or even for me to date him. I have like ₦2 million in my account. As hard as this country is, do you expect me to follow a guy that doesn’t have money? Who does that?”
The lady further disclosed that financial stability is one of her biggest requirements in a relationship, insisting she would not consider any man who failed to meet her expectations.
Her comments have sparked mixed reactions online, with many social media users questioning her standards, while others pointed out the irony of her using an older iPhone while criticising Android users.
One user wrote, “She’s using iPhone 6 but calling Android users broke. The irony. Another added, “Everyone is entitled to their preference, but this one is funny.”
