President Bola Tinubu is meeting behind closed doors with Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Governor Adeleke arrived at the Villa at about 5:25 p.m. on Thursday.

It is his first meeting with the President since his re-election in last Saturday’s governorship election.

The visit comes days after President Tinubu congratulated Adeleke on his victory and urged him to unite the people of Osun State, regardless of their political choices.

The governor was joined by senior government and campaign officials, including Senator Lere Oyewumi, Sunday Bisi, his Chief of Staff, Akinleye Kazeem, and House of Representatives member Bamidele Salam.

Details of the meeting are expected later.
