Former Sokoto State Governor and Senator representing Sokoto South, Aminu Tambuwal, has congratulated the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, on his 65th birthday, describing him as an exceptional leader whose contributions to nation-building and public service continue to inspire Nigerians.

Tambuwal conveyed the congratulatory message in a post shared on his official X handle on Saturday, August 1, as the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria marked his 65th birthday.

The former Speaker of the House of Representatives praised Sanusi’s leadership, intellect and commitment to national development, saying his impact extends beyond traditional leadership.

He said, “As His Highness Muhammadu Sanusi II marks his 65th birthday today, I join his family, friends and well-wishers in celebrating an exceptional leader, accomplished statesman and distinguished public servant.”

Tambuwal also commended the monarch’s dedication to promoting knowledge and advancing national development, noting that his contributions have continued to shape public discourse in Nigeria.

According to him, “His enduring commitment to knowledge, nation-building and the advancement of our people continues to inspire generations and enrich our national discourse.”

On behalf of his family, the former governor prayed for continued good health, wisdom and divine guidance for the Kano monarch.

He said, “On behalf of my family, I wish His Highness many more years in good health, Allah’s abundant mercy, and the wisdom to continue serving humanity with distinction.”
