Premier League Clubs Complete Pre-Season Preparations Ahead Of New Season

Premier League clubs have completed their final pre-season fixtures ahead of the 2026/27 campaign, with teams recording a mixture of wins, draws and defeats in their preparations for the new season.

According to reports from the club sides, Brentford ended their preparations in emphatic fashion with a 7-0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt, while Bournemouth, Brighton, Chelsea, Fulham and Ipswich Town also recorded wins in their final outings.

Arsenal defeated Manchester City 3-0 in the Community Shield, while Manchester United suffered a 4-2 loss to AC Milan and Aston Villa were beaten 2-1 by Borussia Monchengladbach.

Liverpool played out a goalless draw with Como in one of their final pre-season outings, while Tottenham Hotspur defeated Hoffenheim 3-0 before the two sides met again in a behind-closed-doors fixture that ended 2-2.

The new Premier League season is scheduled to begin on Friday, August 21, with defending champions Arsenal hosting newly promoted Coventry City.
