The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has uploaded 1,578 polling unit results from the ongoing Osun State governorship election to its I-REV results viewing portal.
Checks by TVC News Online at 5:45pm showed that 1,578 results had been uploaded out of the 3,763 polling units across the state’s 30 local government areas.
The figure represents 41.93 per cent of the total results expected on the portal.
Further checks showed that the most recent polling unit result uploaded as of the time of filing the report was recorded at 5:39pm.
The I-REV portal is expected to be updated progressively as results are confirmed at polling units and uploaded by INEC.
The development comes as sorting, counting and collation of votes continue at different locations across Osun State.
Political parties, observers and voters are closely monitoring the portal as results emerge from the state’s 3,763 polling units.
