Osun 2026: APC Candidate Oyebamiji Meets Sanwo-Olu, Aiyedatiw

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Osun State, Bola Oyebamiji, has met with key leaders of the party in the South-West, as the party intensifies its campaign ahead of the August 15 governorship election.

Oyebamiji held the strategic meeting with Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, former Osun State Governor, Bisi Akande and APC governorship candidates from Oyo, Ogun and Lagos States at the Lagos State House, Marina.

The meeting, held in Lagos, focused on the party’s campaign strategy, regional collaboration and efforts to secure victory for the APC in the forthcoming election.

Oyebamiji disclosed the meeting in a statement posted on his X account on Monday.

He said the engagement provided an opportunity for the party’s South-West leaders to review campaign plans, align their strategies and strengthen their collective efforts ahead of the election.

The APC candidate said the leaders reaffirmed their commitment to party unity and collaboration, which he described as critical to the party’s electoral success in the region.

“At the meeting, we reaffirmed unity, effective collaboration, and shared determination as veritable pillars strengthening our party within the region,” Oyebamiji said.

He expressed appreciation to the party leaders for their support and guidance, saying their experience had strengthened his campaign’s resolve to win the election.

Oyebamiji also restated his campaign promises to the people of Osun State, including sustainable economic growth, youth empowerment and responsible governance.

“Our mission remains clear: to restore sustainable economic growth, create opportunities for our youth, empower our people, and deliver responsible governance that will improve the lives of every resident of Osun State,” he said.

He added that his campaign would continue to engage stakeholders and communities across the state.

The APC candidate expressed confidence that the party would emerge victorious in the August 15 election, saying he was relying on the support of APC leaders, the National Campaign Council and residents of Osun State.

“With the support of our party, the National Campaign Council, and the good people of Osun State, we will, by the grace of God, secure victory and usher in a new era of shared prosperity for our dear state,” he said.
