Onaiyekan:I Have Lived All My Life,62yrs As A Catholic, Now I Understand A Catholic Priest–Etanabene

PDP House of Representatives member representing Sapele/Uvwie Federal Constituency of Delta State, Hon. Benedict Etanabene, has reacted to a statement made by Cardinal John Onaiyekan concerning President Bola Tinubu’s government, saying that after living all his 62 years as a Catholic, he now understands what it means to be a Catholic priest.
According to him, a Catholic priest would not give a person a special seat in the front of the church simply because the individual is the biggest financial donor.
Etanabene stressed that a Reverend Father who listens to confessions understands what is right and what is wrong and would not compromise his principles because of an individual.
