Nigeria’s headline inflation rate stood at 15.43 per cent in July 2026, according to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
The NBS disclosed this in its July 2026 Consumer Price Index (CPI) report released on Monday.
On a month-on-month basis, the headline inflation rate stood at 1.57 per cent in July.

The statistics agency also reported that food inflation was 5.56 per cent month-on-month during the month.
The latest figures provide an update on the movement of consumer prices and food costs in the Nigerian economy.
