No fewer than 15 persons are feared dead after a vehicle caught fire along the Enagi–Costain Duma Sharp Corner Road in Mokwa Local Government Area of Niger State.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday, August 8, 2026, with the victims reportedly trapped inside the vehicle when it was engulfed by fire.
An eyewitness, Ahmed Ndagana, who confirmed the incident, said about 15 persons were believed to have been burnt to death in the vehicle.
