The ad-Hoc Committee of the House of Representatives probing the activities of the Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council has heard fresh allegations of a ₦400 million bribe.
This time, an agro -businessman, and Managing Director of Divine Dopacy Nigeria Limited, Collins Oyekunle told lawmakers at an investigative hearing that he paid the sum to the embattled former Director-General of PFIPC, Mathew Adeyemi as a condition for the award of a ₦2 billion contract to renovate an official residence.
Mr. Oyekunle alleged that the money was raised from colleagues and paid in batches into different corporate accounts in 2025.
He said the transaction was made after several meetings with the former DG and his associates.
The Committee queried the alleged payment of money into an unverified account as it promised to probe the claims and invite all parties involved
